Meet 7th Circle Studio - The Team Behind Luminae
We are a diverse group of students studying art, programming, sound and game design at DigiPen Institute of Technology. We have come together, focused on making a beautiful and engaging play experience with our game Luminae.
"Only in hiding one's identity can one truely be known."
Art Director
Adam is the team's Art Director. His main responsibility is making the environment and getting everything to "work". In his off time Adam likes to sing in the school choir (when he gets time to) and read science fiction novels.
Robert yields to "The Hacker's Code" as bugs scatter in his wake. He enjoys writing code, short stories, novels, and shameless plug-ins that evoke perfunctory affections of the malleable-kind. Robert also likes making his readers dog-ear pages in their dictionaries... So, yeah... Enjoy your day.
Johnathan Henke is the lead Audio Engineer for the project. He is responsible for managing the audio pipeline and overseeing the final products you'll be hearing in game, while managing a team of three composers and designers. -- johnathanhenke.weebly.com
Allison is some poor, deluded soul who somehow got it in her head that making video games might be fun. The world has been reaping the consequences ever since. She is an artistic jack-of-all-trades who aims to make unconventional games that are as visually appealing as they are entertaining.

Rachel Haygood
Rachel Haygood
Texture Artist
Rachel grew up loving video games and art, and figured anything that combines the two can't be a bad idea. She enjoys painting and texturing, and anything involving creatures. There are never enough dragons.
Tommy Hanusa is the Senior Designer for the project. His goal is to create content and systems that are both surprising to players and easy for other team members to design with. He is both making levels and helping to manange the other designers on the project.
"Momma always said I was animated! Now I've gone and made it my life." Russty enjoys getting living characters out of nothing, from the rigging to keys-n-curves. When he's not animating he can normally be found on his motorcycle, shooting archery or in some costume. To view Russty's work, visit ironoxidy.com
Raelynn joined the team in the beginning of fall semester. She is the visual development lead of the project, tasked with bringing the aesthetic goals of the team under a common banner with her paintings and illustrations.
Don't talk to her about clowns.

Erin Doherty
Erin Doherty
Visual Effects Artist
The video game and animation industries seemed like an interesting place to be, and one thing Erin really loves is animation, watching it and doing it. She also enjoys drawing, painting, and doing research. When she isn’t working, she can be found knitting, reading, and being overly emotional about giant, transforming robots.
Eric is a game designer! He's also a writer! He thought that those were the same things long ago, and time has taught him that they are very different. So now he loves them both, in their separate ways and in the ways they touch each other. He also loves tabletop RPGs, and he will never apologize for it.

Travis Robinson
Travis Robinson
Narrative Designer
Travis is a member of that illusive, some say mythical, breed of designer; the narrative designer. Only sporadic photographic evidence has been successfully obtained. The only sign any have to prove his existence is the anecdotal raving of the mad and pieces of narrative left behind in the night.
TBD
Karyn is focused on making the game into a cohesive, engaging experience for the player. She is working with both the art team and design team to ensure that the gameplay highlights the beauty and grandure of the art style. To see more of her work, please visit www.kmgamesandgraphics.com.
James is a front-end programmer for the game. He is working on gameplay and UI systems. His main duties include: making stuff work and snarky comments (solicited or not).

Chris Sabin
Chris Sabin
Composer/Sound Designer
Chris Sabin is Composer/Sound Designer for Luminae. With a well tuned ear and a mind for creative structure, he traverses the musical cosmos and puts forth music and soundscapes that set the tone for immersive gameplay experiences.
